And believe us – there is a lot to look forward too. Vehicle enhancements are the name of the game and every automaker has been going above and beyond to set their new vehicle apart from the pack. As an auto body repair shop in Denver, we at Accurate Auto Body are here to present you with a look into what awaits in the world of automotive technology of 2016.

Tesla’s 2016 Model X

Despite multiple delays, rumor is that this exciting electric crossover model will be available for distribution in late 2015. An all-wheel drive vehicle with two motors exclusive to the front and rear wheels, Tesla’s innovation continues to impress us. Gull winged doors give the vehicle a futuristic looks which is guaranteed to impress. And with the ability to drive 170-230 miles at a time between recharges, you’ll be saving a lot on fuel as well.

Chevrolet’s 2016 Malibu

Coming packed with a host of technologies, including pedestrian detection and a system which tracks young drivers’ habits, Chevrolet has really put some work into their new midsize sedan. With a 1.5 or 2.0 liter turbocharged engine and a lighter load than previous models, speed and fuel efficiency are up. A hybrid version is also available which offers up to 48 mpg city driving.

Toyota’s 2016 Rav 4 Hybrid

Despite its similar appearance to previous models, what’s below the hood is brand new for 2016. Details are leaking slowly, but Toyota has confirmed that more power will be available for the new Rav 4 and, of course, increase fuel economy. At an estimated $30,000 new, Toyota’s new hybrid is nothing to scoff at.

Cadillac’s 2016 CTS-V

In terms of what you would look for in a luxury vehicle, Cadillac has really outdone itself. The new CTS-V sports the same size engine as the Corvette Z06, accelerating from 0-60 in 3.7 seconds and tops out at 200 mph. Not to mention the luxury, style, and class which come standard on all Cadillacs.

The Big Picture

As you can see, automakers are integrating electric motors and alternative energy wherever possible while still trying to drop weight and increase speed. We are very excited to see all of the 2016 models make it out of the showroom and onto the street!
