FAQs

Q: If someone hits my car, can I choose where it gets repaired?
A:
According to Colorado house bill 03-1253 you the vehicle owner have the right to choose where your vehicle is repaired. Accurate Auto Body shop has been among the best auto body repair shops in Aurora, Colorado since 1991.  Please give us a call: 303-344-2212.

Q: How many estimates am I required to get if someone has hit my car?
A:
You are only required to furnish one estimate for the repair cost.

Q: Can I get multiple estimates?
A:
Yes, you can get as many estimates as you like.  If you choose to get more than one estimate for the damage to you vehicle, be sure that the estimates you receive are written for the exact damage.  Remember that some shops may not be writing the estimates for  the exact same process of repair, so make sure to compare them apples to apples, and keep in mind that an estimate is just that and estimate.

Q: Who is responsible for the cost of the cost of my repair?
A:
As the owner of the vehicle, you are legally responsible for the cost of the repair, as only you can authorize the repair to been done.  The other party needs to pay you directly for the cost of repair.  Since you are responsible for payment, if the other party were to contest charges, or stop payment on a check, you would be responsible for full payment.

Q: Do you need to know who is paying for my repair?
A:
Be sure to let our representative know that the other party wants to pay for the repair so that we can let you know about possible hidden damage that may be associated with the repair.

Q: What needs to be included on my estimate for the repair?
A:
Be sure to include the cost of the repair and a rental vehicle (remember to consider that you will need a rental vehicle while your vehicle is being repaired).

Q: How long will my car be in the shop?
A:
An exact time to repair your vehicle can only be established after the true repair cost and parts availability has been determined.  Typical moderate repairs can take roughly 5-7 days to repair once all parts are procured.  Towed in vehicles with heavy damage can take anywhere from 1 ½ to 3 weeks depending    on the amount of damage and parts availability.  After your vehicle is in the shop and the full disassembly and repair planning is complete we are able to let you know the exact cost of repair as well as parts availability and your completion date.  If the insurance company needs to approve the additional repair it could take 1-3 days for final approval, and then the completion date will be known.

What are they Saying?

I can assure you that it was very refreshing to do business with your company. Very professional, very courteous, very respectful of my vehicle and VERY "down to earth!" Your work was very through, done right and right on time. It was my pleasure to business with you...although I can't necessarily say I'm looking forward to doing business with you again...BUT if needs be, I will NOT HESITATE to be a repeat customer!!! If I could, I would rate your company a SOLID 15 out of 10!!!!
