Our History
Accurate Auto Body opened for business in April of 1991. At that time the entire Denver Metro area was still feeling the effects a severe hailstorm that occurred in July of 1990. It was the most severe hail storm the area had ever encountered, causing over $1 Billion in damage in today’s dollars.
The demand for quality Auto Body repair services was unprecedented, and existing shops were backlogged for weeks and even months. While a lot of shops were all about hail repair, there were still collisions taking place every day. People needed a quality body shop to take their drivable car to that wasn’t going to make then wait weeks to get in for repairs. The non-drivable vehicle situation was even more difficult, with vehicles sitting in shop lots waiting their turn for repairs.
Recognizing this growing client need is how Accurate got started over 20 years ago. We found a small space to rent in the Motor Machine building off 6th & Havana in Aurora, and were busy from the first day we opened. About 3 years later we added more space, and by 2000 inhabited the entire building and parking lots.
Along the way we have enjoyed long term relationships with our clients, employees and vendors. We consider all of them good friends and say Thank You for your ongoing support.
